Tampa FL - The Florida Trucking Association
conducted their annual Truck Driving Championships
on June 1, 2 and 3. More than two hundred
of the best commercial vehicle drivers in
the state of Florida competed during the
three day event. These drivers were scored
on their driving ability, personal appearance,
knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety
Regulations and their ability to conduct
a commercial vehicle pre-trip safety inspection.
Wilson Trucking Corporation had two drivers
to place in the competition; Pat Condon,
second in the five axle class and Carlos
Rodriguez, second in the flat bed class.
