Smithfield, NC - The North Carolina Truck
Driving Competition was held in Smithfield,
NC on May 9th and 10th, 2008. Two Wilson
Trucking drivers, Tony Talley and Micheal
Freeman, qualified for the National Competition
to be held in Houston, TX in August.
Tony Talley, a P&D Driver in our Conover
terminal won the Straight Truck class.

page is State Trooper Alan Hook.
Tony Talley was also named Rookie of the
Year for the NC competition.
Micheal Freeman, a P&D Driver in our
Greensboro terminal won the Sleeper class.
Pictured on the right is Bill Creecy, Chairman
of the Safety Council.
Placing Second in the 3 Axle Class was Michael
Fulk, a Linehaul Driver domiciled in Greensboro.
Steve Caudill, a Linehaul Driver domiciled
in Conover, placed second in the Twin Trailer
class.
